The Matching Funds program was established in 2001-2002 by the Superintendent to assist schools and their partners in raising funds for capital school improvements by matching dollars in any amount up to $50,000. On October 26, 2009, a committee composed of elementary, middle and high school principals, and the Facilities Division met to review and update the program procedures to be effective for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. (Revised procedures are attached). District Matching Funds are requested for cafeteria tables at Turkey Creek Middle School and for Media Center furniture and furniture for the outside eating area, replacement mural for the cafeteria, new printers, and new poster maker at Wilson Middle School. |
