EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 17, 2011, 15 magnet schools received Merit School awards in three categories at the Magnet Schools of America 29th national conference in Indianapolis. MSA awards Magnet Schools of Excellence and Magnet Schools of Distinction based on "commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/ diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of quality services to all school stakeholders." Hillsborough County Public Schools have been recognized more than 80 times by the Magnet Schools of America organization.
