Approve License Agreement with Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) for Ingress/Egress, Construction, Operation and Management of Monitoring Wells at Bellamy Elementary School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Southwest Florida Water Management District has requested permission for ingress/egress, construction, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of monitoring wells in the existing cypress dome at Bellamy Elementary School. These wells are used for performing hydrologic measurements, conducting ground-water pumping tests and observing fresh/salt water interface levels. The cypress dome anticipated to be used by SWFWMD is in an area of the campus that is not utilized for any function or structure by the school. School Board staff has negotiated a one-time payment of $5,000 for the License Agreement. SWFWMD will also be responsible for reimbursement of legal fees up to $500 and any recording fees that may be associated with this agreement. |
