SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Hold a Public Hearing and Adopt a Resolution to Identify and Approve Projects to be Funded During the 2011/2016 Period by Community Investment Tax Proceeds (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Per the requirements of Hillsborough County Ordinance 96-12 and the Interlocal Agreement of July 17, 1996, the District is required to hold a Public Hearing and adopt a resolution listing the projects to be funded from the proceeds of the Community Investment Tax.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Align financial resources to support the district’s strategic goals • Demonstrate best financial practices • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Estimated cost of projects to be completed is $10.7 million to be funded from the proceeds of the Community Investment Tax.
