Approve Change Order No. 1 for Kitchen Waste Plumbing Replacement at Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Mechanical Engineering Solutions, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for the replacement of the kitchen waste plumbing at Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary School. The project was publicly advertised and bids were received. District staff awarded the the contract for construction to the low bidder, American Construction Services, Inc. This change order provides for unforeseen requirements for a sanitary lift station and upgraded epoxy flooring to accommodate high moisture levels in the existing concrete foundation. A credit for project savings is also included. |
