EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request approval of Letters of Authorization with the State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for the Florida Rider Training Program for motorcycle safety training offered by the district. These Letters of Authorization are for the period of July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2016.
Currently classes are offered at Armwood and Chamberlain high schools through the Workforce and Continuing Education Department. The program consists of two courses: Basic Rider and Experienced Rider. Motorcycle safety training courses have been provided through the district since 1991 and have served approximately 11,000 students. |
