Recognize the 2011 Just Read, Florida! - District Award Winners (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Thirteen district employees have been nominated and selected by their peers and district personnel across four broad categories of literacy awards as 2010-2011 school year winners. Each has demonstrated excellence in promoting literacy in his or her respective area of expertise. We take great pride in our strong literacy programs and commend these literacy leaders as we increase academic and literacy expectations for all students. These district winners have been submitted to the Department of Education for regional and state level review. 

District

Reading Leader:  Glenda Brown, Elementary Supervisor, Reading and Language Arts

Elementary Schools

Reading Leader:  Julie Wood – Essrig Elementary School

Reading Coach:  Heather Bisesto – Lithia Springs Elementary School

Reading Teacher:  Kathryn Cortelyou – Kenly Elementary School
