Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Hill Middle School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The approved District Five Year Plan includes the project for renovation of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system at Hill Middle School. On October 5, 2010, the Board appointed Lyle Engineering Group, Inc. to provide design services. On October 26, 2010, the Board appointed Walbridge Aldinger Company to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for the replacement of the HVAC, lighting, and low voltage systems; addition of a fire sprinkler system, and improvement to exiting and stairs to meet current code standards. Project completion is scheduled for September 2, 2011. Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost of the project. |
