EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Educational services are provided to students in various Juvenile Justice programs located throughout the school district. Florida Law (F.S. 1003.52) requires this agreement. It outlines the various roles and responsibilities of the School Board and the Department of Juvenile Justice and is designed to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of services for children and youth served in Department of Juvenile Justice settings. | |

This agreement ensures that students receiving educational services in Juvenile Justice programs will receive Extended Year and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) funding under the Florida Education Finance Program. The programs will be financed by FTE funds, which amount to approximately $1,714,150. This item is included in the Part 1 Budget for 2011/2012. | |
EVALUATION | |
Each Juvenile Justice Education Program is evaluated annually through a quality assurance review conducted by the Juvenile Justice Educational Enhancement Program (JJEEP). These reviews will be completed by June 30, 2012. | |
