Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Miscellaneous Renovations at Turkey Creek Middle School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The approved District Five Year Plan includes several projects for renovation of selected items at Turkey Creek Middle School. District staff combined the individual items from the Five Year Plan into a single project and selected Cooper Johnson Smith Architects, Inc. and Cutler Associates, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes interior and exterior painting; correction of water intrusion problems; complete replacement of windows in Building 3; replacement and refurbishment of selected lockers; and limited lighting improvements. Project completion is scheduled for August 13, 2011. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. |
