| Renew the Existing Bid Submitted by Enterprise Leasing Company of Florida - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #9064-DST Van Rental (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On June 9, 2009, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Athletics Department, issued an ITB to establish fixed pricing for van rental. The vans are used to transport secondary school team members to and from sporting events such as tennis, golf, and other events where Hillsborough County Public Schools bus transportation is deemed inappropriate or unavailable.
The initial term for this award was from August 12, 2009 through August 11, 2010, with four additional one-year renewal options. The supplier has agreed to renew for the third year, beginning August 12, 2011, and ending August 11, 2012, with terms and conditions to remain unchanged; however, the mileage charge will increase from 15 cents a mile to 19 cents a mile. The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement for the terms of the specifications. |

| EVALUATION | |
| Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
