Renew the Existing Bid Submitted by Velda Farms a.k.a. Borden Dairy Company of Florida - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #9075-DST Milk Products (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This bid was prepared at the request of the Student Nutrition Services Department to establish fixed pricing and to provide milk products in attractive, age-appropriate packaging to approximately 215 school sites.  The initial term of the contract was from August 1, 2009 to July 31, 2010, with two one-year renewals, provided all terms and conditions remain unchanged.  A more detailed review of the specifications can be obtained by contacting the Procurement Department.  This is the contract's last renewal.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funds will be available in the Student Nutrition Services budget for the purchase of milk products.  Expenditures were $5,420,940 for 2010/2011, and $5,074,957 for 2009/2010.
