Recognition of the American School Counselor Association's (ASCA) Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) Designation Awarded to Ippolito Elementary School (Elementary Education-Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) established the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation in 2003 to promote exemplary school counseling programs. The RAMP designation is valid for three years and to date more than 250 schools across the country have received the RAMP designation. This designation is awarded to schools whose counseling programs align with the criteria set in the ASCA National Model, schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive data-driven school counseling program and creating an exemplary educational environment.
The RAMP designation was awarded to 100 schools nationwide for the 2010/2011 school year and Ippolito Elementary School was one of the two schools in the state of Florida to earn this recognition. Also, it is the first Hillsborough County Public School to receive this designation. |
