Approve Renewal Agreements with Various Officials Organizations for Athletic Contests, 2011/2012 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We request approval of the negotiated renewal agreements with the following organizations:

  • Hillsborough County Volleyball Officials Association to provide varsity and junior varsity volleyball officials for scheduled high school and middle school volleyball contests - $27,702
  • West Coast Officials Association, Incorporated to provide varsity and junior varsity football, basketball and flag football officials for scheduled high school and middle school contests - $186,682
  • Florida West Coast High School Soccer Officials Association for the purpose of providing soccer officials for scheduled high school and middle school contests - $42,126
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate best financial practices • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health

Total funds of $256,510 are included in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction Athletics Department budget.
