Approve Contract with Lawson Software for Implementation Services (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The district is currently implementing Lawson's Talent Management software suite.  The next two modules to "go live" will be Global Human Resources (HR) and Talent Acquisition. 

When we "go live" with Global HR, it will become the system-of-record for our employee data.  Global HR also enables integration of all of the other modules of the Lawson Talent Management suite. 

The Talent Acquisition module will help us to better automate and streamline our recruiting, candidate searching, hiring, and on-board activities.  These implementation services will support our Human Resources Department in their role as functional lead in this project.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce • Align the performance management system with the district’s priorities • Demonstrate best financial practices
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The contract amount of $74,800, plus approximately $10,000 of travel expenses will be funded by the Empowering Effective Teachers' grant. 
EVALUATION
This resource will be evaluated weekly by the Project Management team.
