Approve the Revised Agreement of Understanding with Publix Super Markets, Inc. for Community Based Training (CBT) (Exceptional Student Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Agreement of Understanding with Publix Super Markets, Inc. was approved on June 14, 2011, item A5.13.  This is a resubmission due to revisions to the agreement made by Publix Super Markets, Inc.  The revisions include:

  • a title change from Agreement of Understanding between Publix Super Markets, Inc. and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, to the Community Based Vocational Education (CBVE) Agreement
  • a program name change from the CBT program to the CBVE program
  • an ending date change from June 30, 2013, to June 30, 2012
  • the termination procedure requiring five days written notice from 30 days written notice

These revisions were made by Publix Super Markets, Inc. to allow for only one agreement to be used by all the school districts in the state of Florida.
