Recognition of the 2011 State Winners for the National History Day Competition Program (Middle School Education-Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The National History Day Competition program is a national contest for students in grades 6-12. The students conduct extensive research related to an annual theme and present their findings in one of four categories: exhibits, documentaries, performances, or papers. Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while creating their entries. The 2011 State History Fair was held in Tallahassee, Florida, on May 3, 2011. We are proud to recognize our state winners from Hillsborough County who went on to compete at the national level. |
