EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
We request the School Board adopt the attached National Inclusive Schools Week proclamation to recognize effective inclusive education practices in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
National Inclusive Schools Week is an opportunity to recognize the progress that our schools have made in implementing effective inclusive education practices and to showcase the many instructional endeavors that help students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment with peers. National Inclusive Schools Week is an event that is sponsored by the Inclusive Schools Network (ISN). The ISN is a world-wide resource and network of professionals, families, schools, and organizations whose mission is: "to encourage, embolden, and empower people to design and implement effective inclusive schools by sharing insights and best practices and by providing opportunities for connection."
