SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Addendum to the Agreement with the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) to Host the Soccer State Championship Tournament Events for the 2011/2012 School Year (Athletics Department)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of an addendum to change the venue of FHSAA Soccer State Championship Tournament events February 10-11, 2012, and February 17-18, 2012. The original agreement was approved January 18, 2011. University of Tampa's Pepin Rood Stadium is now unavailable due to construction.  The tournament will be held at University of South Florida.  The district has hosted this event for the past three years.  To accommodate the large crowds, press, and media representation from a multitude of cities, FHSAA officials and staff as well as district personnel are needed to run the multiday event.

• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The expenditures for the tournament will be offset by the gate receipts and no additional funding will be required.
