| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On July 18, 2011, the Hillsborough County School Board approved the addition of an eighth Area Leadership Director as part of the Wallace Grant initiative and the disproportionate number of school sites in Area V due to a growth in student population. This addition will help equalize the number of sites and student population assigned to each Area Leadership Director and will allow them to discharge their new responsibilities as outlined in their new job description as an operational and instructional leader.
The Area Leadership Director will have more time to visit sites, support, evaluate and develop principals within their areas. |

| The Wallace Grant will fund eighty-percent (80%) of the salary and the remaining twenty-percent (20%) will be paid with Part I funds. The salary is in accordance with the Administrative Salary Schedule (Y09). | |
