SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Fixed Price Subagreement between the School Board of Hillsborough County, FL and the University of South Florida (USF) for Evaluation Support to the Project Entitled "Interdistrict Agreement for Expanding School Choice Through Voluntary Public School Choice Models, Project Building Relationships and Interdistrict Development to Guide Education (BRIDGE)" (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The BRIDGE project is designed to strengthen the availability, accessibility, and the equity of education options for parents to secure a high-quality education for students.  BRIDGE seeks to maintain the current interdistrict agreement model.  The target audience in the Hillsborough County Public Schools for BRIDGE is Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) students and teachers at Plant City High School and Marshall Middle School.  AVID is a not-for-profit organization that works with the College Board whose mission is to ensure that all students, especially students in the middle with academic potential capable of completing a college preparatory path, are provided support to succeed. The University of South Florida has provided evaluation support for this project since 2008. 

The Scope of Work (Attachment A) for this agreement includes collaboration with the Coordinator of Grant Evaluation for the Hillsborough County Public Schools to: complete the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) required Interim Reports; complete the FLDOE required Annual Performance Report (APR); provide revisions of the reports provided by the Project Director of the FLDOE.  The District will provide all needed data to complete the APR in a timely fashion in a mutually agreed upon format.  All reports submitted by USF related to this grant project wll be summative in nature.  Attachment B reflects the Deliverables and Payments.

Of the $300,000 awarded for this grant, $10,000 has been allocated for this evaluation.
EVALUATION
Quarterly Performance Reports and a Final Report will be submitted for final approval.
