Approve the Naming of the Media Center at Webb Middle School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Webb Middle School faculty, staff and community members have requested that the media center at Webb Middle School be named the Dr. John P. Miliziano Media Center.
Dr. Miliziano began his career with Hillsborough County Public Schools in 1968, as a Social Studies teacher at Leto High School. Dr. Miliziano also held the positions of Dean of Students, Supervisor of Affirmative Action, Principal, and Director of Pupil Administrative Services. He also served as Administrative Assistant to two Superintendents, Dr. Walter L. Sickles and Dr. Earl J. Lennard. Dr. Miliziano retired in September of 1997. John Miliziano also made an impact with his leadership roles in many organizations such as Dean’s Council, HASA, Phi Delta Kappa, Children’s Services Volunteer League, Magnet Schools Task Force and numerous other organizations. |
