Approve Acceptance of Project for 2011 Modular Installations at Multiple Sites | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 3, 2011, the Board approved the addition to Community Investment Tax projects for replacement of obsolete and non-economically repairable facilities with modular buildings. District staff selected Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for a portion of the portable replacement requirements. The scope of work provided for demolition of existing portables and installation of new modular classrooms at 16 sites. (A list of sites is included in the attachment.) The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
