(Corporation) and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, a Public Body Corporate, on Behalf of Muller Elementary Magnet School Summer Program (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| This request for an MOU will cover the dates of July 1, 2012, through August 17, 2012. The purpose of this MOU is to establish an agreement between The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and the University Area Community Development Corporation (UACDC), Inc., concerning their respective roles and responsibilities to provide a summer program in partnership with the Hillsborough County Schools Out of School Time (HOST) Program on the campus of the UACDC located at 14013 North 22nd Street. This program provides quality summer programming and child care for 75 elementary students who reside in zip codes 33612, 33613, and other zip codes near Muller Elementary School, as well as other neighborhood schools, specifically Mort, Miles, and Shaw. The intent of this program is to allow students to participate in a summer prevention and intervention program that will allow them to grow and develop in a safe educationally enriched environment. | |

| The partnership between UACDC and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida is supported by community collaboration and parent fees, therefore, the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida, has no financial obligation. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| Parent and Student Satisfaction Surveys will be among the tools used for evaluation. Surveys will employ a Likert scale, which asks respondents to specify their level of agreement to a statement. | |
