| Accept the Piggyback of Request for Proposal (RFP) #12-074-MW, Technology Services Hardware Repair/Parts Between Blue Raven Technology, Inc. and the District School Board of Pasco County, Florida (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The Customer Service and Support Department will be utilizing the District School Board of Pasco County, Florida (SBPC), agreement to purchase computer motherboards, hard drives, displays, batteries, and numerous other computer parts.
The term of the contract with SBPC is from April 17, 2012, through April 16, 2015. The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) rule 6A-1.012 and district policy allow purchases from contracts awarded by other government agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services(DMS),etc., at or below specified prices. The supplier was contacted to insure Hillsborough County Public Schools is receiving the deepest discount available. The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement for the terms of the specifications. |

| The technology parts in this agreement cover purchases throughout the district in an estimated amount of $200,000. Year-to-date expenditures are $143,656 for 2011/2012, and $218,000 for 2010/2011. Expenditures could be lower this year due to the increase in cannibalization of parts from surplus. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
