EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The equipment and supplies being purchased are for the 1,500 hour Electrician Program housed at Leto High School. This comprehensive program includes the LearnMate Learning Management System, which provides online access to all the electrical related curriculum and labs. The curriculum also includes the Florida Department of Education requirements of employability skills, safety, and math for technicians. This vendor is a Plant City based, State of Florida certified, Minority, Women, and Service-Disabled Veteran business. | |

Funds of $171,866 are available through Workforce Reserve, Project 9003. Through negotiation, the district was able to save $1,736 from the original price quote. | |
EVALUATION | |
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
