Approve the Job Description for Teacherpreneur/Teacher Leader
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The position of Teacherpreneur/Teacher Leader is a half time position, supporting teachers in developing instructional strategies and data analysis. The Teacherpreneur/Teacher Leader will teach classes for half the day, then assume these additional responsibilities. The position is being created in conjunction with the Center for Teacher Quality (CTQ), and the project will serve as a pilot for possible future creation of Teacher Leader positions in our schools.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Funding in the amount of approximately $75,000 will be provided by the Center for Teacher Quality.
EVALUATION
Both CTQ and the district will evaluate the impact of the position through verbal and written surveys.
