SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Piggyback of Bid #991-460-07-1, Temporary Employment Services, Between Select Staffing and the State of Florida (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The district will be utilizing the state contract for temporary employment staffing services.  This contract provides temporary staffing services within multiple job categories including administrative support.  The State of Florida agreement is for a three-year renewal term, December 18, 2011, through May 17, 2013.  The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement for the terms of the specifications.

The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) rule 6A-1.012 allows purchases from contracts awarded by other government agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services (DMS), etc., at or below specified prices.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Expenditures were $214,779 for 2011/2012, and $190,281 for 2010/2011.  General funds will be available primarily from Early Childhood and Host Programs, Assessment and Accountability, Payroll, and various other department budgets.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team.  Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report.  Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
