Recognize the Month of October as Bullying Prevention Awareness Month (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The month of October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.  Students across Hillsborough County will participate in bullying awareness activities.  Every public school in Hillsborough County has a bullying prevention plan in place, and the District recently created a bullying prevention video that is being shared with schools.  All bullying reports are taken seriously and investigated by a school administrator.  Reports of student bullying may be made in person to a teacher or administrator, on a bullying reporting form located at all schools, by email to the principal, or by contacting Crime Stopper at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).  More information and resources are available at www.sdhc.k12.fl.us/bullyprevention/.
