Approve Lease Between the School Board of Hillsborough County and 717 Parking Services for Additional Temporary Parking for the Rampello Downtown Partnership School
On December 13, 2011, the School Board of Hillsborough County approved leases with 717 Parking Services for temporary parking spaces for the staff and faculty of the ROSSAC Building and Rampello Downtown Partnership School. These leases were necessary due to the construction improvements being made to the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway and the suspension of the School Board's parking lease with the Crosstown Authority for "City Lots 1, 2 and 3". A recent request was made by Rampello for six more parking spaces to accommodate additional HOST personnel at the school.
Facilities staff has secured the additional spaces, effective December 1, 2012, at the Whiting Lot (see location map) behind the Rampello Parking Garage. The total monthly fee for the six spaces is $256.80. With the execution of this Lease, the School Board delegates authority to its Superintendent or designee to execute any renewal term(s) contained in this Lease.

The $256.80 monthly charge for the additional six parking spaces for HOST staff at Rampello Downtown Partnership School will be derived from General Operating Funds. Costs will be offset by the reimbursed lease payment from the Crosstown Authority which is included in the current budget.
