Approve License Agreement and Easement to Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) for Ingress/Egress, Construction, Operation and Management of a Monitoring Well at South County Career Center, Ruskin

Southwest Florida Water Management District has requested permission for ingress/egress, construction, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of a monitoring well at South County Career Center.  The well is used to perform hydrologic measurements, conducting ground-water pumping tests and observing fresh/salt water interface levels.  South County Career utilizes well water for the campus.  With the installation of the monitoring well, the test results would give the School District first hand knowledge of any existing ground water issues.  The location of the well is adjacent to the School's access easement into the site which is a considerable distance from the school buildings as reflected on Exhibit A.

Approval of the License Agreement and Easement with Southwest Florida Water Management District for ingress/egress to construct, maintain, repair or replace a monitoring well at South County Career Center will have no financial impact to the School Board.
