Approve the Naming of the Simmons Career Center Access Road in Honor of Leslie Morris | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The faculty, staff, parents, and community of Simmons Career Center have requested that the access road leading to the school be named Leslie Morris Lane in honor of former principal Leslie Morris. Mrs. Morris served the students and parents in Hillsborough County for 34 years as an Exceptional Student Education teacher, administrator and principal. She was a very caring and compassionate leader in the field of education. Mrs. Morris was a member of several organizations throughout her career and was a tireless community contributor.
Naming the main access road in honor of Mrs. Leslie Morris will keep her legacy alive. |
