Approve Appointment of Design Professional for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation and Canopy Replacement at Trapnell Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for renovation of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and replacement of exterior walkway canopies at Trapnell Elementary School. Staff has combined the requirements into a single project, and appointment of a design professional for the project is required. Florida Statutes and School Board policy outline the process and requirements for selection of architects, engineers, and construction managers. Attachment A summarizes the process. The process provides for the identification of the most highly qualified firm by a Professional Services Selection Committee that includes representatives from several District divisions and the community. Attachment C identifies the specific committee members participating in the selection for Trapnell and the organization represented by each. |
