Briefing on Hillsborough County Economic Prosperity Stakeholder Committee Final Report

The Hillsborough County Commission created the Economic Prosperity Stakeholder Committee (EPSC) in March 2012 with the mission of examining the County’s regulatory structure and making recommendations to ease the burden and cost of regulatory oversight on economic development, while maintaining the County’s commitment to quality of life and responsible environmental stewardship. The EPSC presented its Recommendation Report (http://www.hillsboroughcounty.org/DocumentCenter/View/5848) to the Board of County Commissioners in December 2012. Public input is currently being sought on the EPSC's recommendations.  Attached is the "At A Glance" version of the Committee's recommendations.

Lucia Garsys, Deputy County Administrator, Infrastructure and Development Services and Ron Barton, Economic Development Director for Hillsborough County are presenting the Committee's report to the School Board for information and comments.  No action is required.
