Approve Amendment #0002 to Contract #LC914 with the Florida Department of Children and Families for Child Care Training Coordination (Student Services and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On June 15, 2010, Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) contracted with the Florida Department of Children and Families to provide a Child Care Training Program in Hillsborough County, Florida. State funds of $801,710 were included in the contract to cover operating expenses (primarily human resources and facility rental). On February 1, 2011, amendment #0001 was approved for additional state funds of $6,360 for Child Care Training staff to attend conferences supporting early learning educational needs in the community. We are requesting approval of amendment #0002, effective May 15, 2013, increasing the service unit price for 2012/2013 in the amount of $10,096.65. This increase is being provided by the Florida Department of Children and Families. This amendment also updates the contract manager information, replaces attachment III, and adds special provisions for employment eligibility verification and personnel liability. |
