Manager, Communications

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Performance Management & Community Support, will oversee departments that support internal and external communications for the school district.  The manager will work collaboratively with the Public Information Officer, across divisions, and with external stakeholders to ensure that the district’s communication processes are clear, accurate, effective, and user-friendly for the end user.

Department Manager, Strategic Initiative Communications and Marketing

Will oversee internal and external marketing of strategic initiative functions for the district and ensure that initiatives are effectively communicated and marketed to appropriate stakeholders.

This reorganization allows the Public Information Officer (PIO) and his staff, under the direction of the Superintendent, to support high level communication needs of the district which include responsiveness to the local media, general public, School Board, Superintendent, and school and district staff.  Public record requests and high-level emergency incident notifications will be monitored and facilitated by the PIO’s office.
