Approve the Administrative Appointment of the Principal Coach for Area II |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY |
This position was approved on November 8, 2011, will provide day-to-day feedback and coaching for novice principals and assistant principals as they transition from the classroom to the principal's office. This position is part of the "Wallace Foundation Principal Pipeline" that selected only six districts across the country to participate. These coaches will assist the Director of Leadership Development in redefining the role of the principal, providing high-quality prescriptive training, engaging a more rigorous selective hiring process, and promoting on the job evaluation and support. |
