Review the Tentative Facilities Five Year Work Plan 2013-2017 |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The School District is scheduled to approve the tentative Facilities Five Year Work Plan on July 30, 2013, after which the Plan will be transmitted to all 4 local governments and the Planning Commission for review and comment. On September 24, 2013, the School Board is scheduled to adopt the final Facilities Plan. The Plan identifies 2 new schools to open within the time frame of the Plan. This is in addition to Elementary A, which is fully funded and scheduled to open in 2014-15. Funds for 2 additional schools will begin to accumulate during this time frame as well. |

• Align financial resources to support the district’s strategic goals • Demonstrate best financial practices • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health • Construct and maintain facilities that create an environment conducive to teaching and learning | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
The tentative Facilities Five Year Work Plan projects $650,815,783 of revenues and capital expenditures in that amount are proposed. |
