Approve Appointment of Construction Manager and Design Professional for Elementary B | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A new elementary school is included in the approved 2013-2014 Five Year Capital Outlay Plan to support recent and future growth impacting Ippolito and Frost Elementary Schools. The school will be built within the Magnolia Park Subdivision on property owned by the School Board adjacent to Progress Village Middle Magnet School. The school will be designed to achieve Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification, and will open in August 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year. Appointment of a qualified design professional and construction manager for the project is required. . Holmes Hepner & Associates Architects, Inc. to provide design services for a fixed fee of $881,187. |
