Approve the Appointment of Department Manager - Professional Standards (Human Resources Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This is a new position in the Professional Standard's Department that will be responsible for all issues in transportation involving misconduct allegations, civility issues, and parent complaints for both regular and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) riders.  This position was approved at the July 16, 2013, School Board meeting (Human Resources Division reorganization).
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce • Align the performance management system with the district’s priorities • Provide for a district-wide succession planning structure and visible career ladder

Cost to the district is $70,617.36 - General Fund
