EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
This year school districts across the United States are joining America’s Promise Alliance in declaring September as, “Attendance Awareness Month.” During the month of September, local principals and school district personnel recognize the positive effect of student attendance, which strengthens student learning, academic success, and school involvement. This School Board recognition acknowledges the important role that student attendance plays in the academic, personal/social, and career development of students in our school district. | |

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Motivate students to become responsible learners | |
