Approve Acceptance of Project for Fire Alarm and Intercom System Replacements at Four Sites (Lee, Dunbar, Progress Village and Seminole) |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the fire alarm and intercom systems at Lee, Dunbar and Seminole Elementary Schools, and the intercom system at Progress Village Middle School. District staff combined the requirements into a single project and selected KBA Engineering, Inc./Tanase & Associates from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 21, 2013, the Board awarded the contract for construction to Alarm & Communication Systems, Inc. |
