Approve the Memorandums of Understanding with The Florida Endowment Foundation for Florida's Graduates, Inc. (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Girls Get Information Technology (GGIT) is a program offered by The Florida Endowment Foundation for Florida's Graduates, Inc.  The program is designed to assist parents and educators in creating socially-adept, academically-capable, self-disciplined, and goal-oriented young people who are prepared to capitalize fully on their future opportunities. 

GGIT is an after-school enrichment program that will be offered at Hill Middle School, Madison Middle School, and Webb Middle School. GGIT encourages students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) courses, college majors, and careers.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Motivate students to become responsible learners
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
All related costs for the 2013/2014 school year, totaling $6,000, will be funded by The Florida Endowment Foundation for Florida's Graduates, Inc.
