The utilization of nonschool site properties provides training opportunities for individuals with special needs.  Collaboration by the district with these training partners includes annual evaluation of the programs toward ensuring that each trainee can live and work independently in the community.  Training is provided in job readiness skills, employability skills, life skills, job preparation, on-the-job training, and hands-on applications.  During the 2013/2014 school year, 284 adult students with disabilities have been enrolled and are on target or have reached their benchmarks.
