EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Spring of Tampa Bay, Inc. (The Spring) provides a variety of services to victims of domestic violence, including a 24-hour emergency shelter for victims and their dependent children who have no other safe place to go. The children who reside at The Spring must receive educational services on-site for security reasons. The district provides a teacher and teacher aide, who provide academic instruction for approximately 25 children. | |

The Spring provides the facility at no cost to the school district. The academic instructional components for the program are funded by FTE funds, which amount to approximately $146,333. This item is included in the Part 1 budget for 2014/2015. | |
EVALUATION | |
A comprehensive evaluation of the academic program will be complete by June 30, 2015. District and Alternative Education Program staff will review academic achievement data, notes, walk-through checklists from site visits and exit surveys. | |
