EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
In the 2012-2013 school year, the assistant principal evaluation was redesigned to include a 360-degree survey to assess assistant principal performance on the district school leader competencies. Teachers and principals completed the survey by responding to questions related to each of the competencies. As a result, assistant principals received very detailed reports highlighting their strengths and areas of opportunity, which allowed them to write performance goals for the next school year.
We are now moving into the second year of the survey administration. The assistant principal survey will be administered to teachers and principals in April 2014, and the results will be used during evaluation and goal-setting conferences with assistant principals in June and July. The survey is administered through Scantron Survey Services. |
