Provide an Update on the ESE Task Force Recommendations Related to Specialized Transportation for Students with Disabilities with Red Alert Students
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This workshop will provide the school board with an overview of the process currently in place for ensuring that bus drivers and bus riders receive the appropriate training prior to transporting a red alert student who requires specialize transportation.  This process is a result of several ESE Task Force recommendations and has involved the collaboration of multiple district and site-based staff.

• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
