Approve Disciplinary Action - Instructional Support
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Per recommendation of the Superintendent, the employees listed below are recommended for the following disciplinary action, effective April 2, 2014.  The employees are entitled to due process, which affords them the opportunity to request a grievance hearing after the final School Board action:

  • Dory L. Perez, Secretary 2 - Plant High School:  Suspend Without Pay for Three Days.  Accepted inappropriate compensation from the resale of football playoff tickets that had already been paid for and then failed to turn in the money as a donation.
  • Arthur L. Reddin, Bus Driver – Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay for Three Days.  Made an inappropriate comment to a student and placed his hands on another student.
