Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Roof Replacement at Stewart Middle School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of selected roofs at Stewart Middle School. District staff selected Weber & Tinnen, PA and Kenyon & Partners, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The project scope provides for roof replacements on Building 2 (gymnasium, music, and locker rooms); partial areas of Building 3 (classrooms and central mechanical room); and partial areas of Building 4 (teacher dining). As part of this project, the mechanical equipment located on the locker room roof area of Building 2 will be removed and reinstalled to allow for reroofing. Project completion is scheduled for July 31, 2014. |

Total construction cost is warranted as $1,384,295. The construction budget is $1,385,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. |
