Recognition of Winner of the 14th Congressional District High School Art Competition (Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Award winners from each congressional district are recognized both in their district and at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. The first place entry for each congressional district is displayed for one year at the United States Capitol Building.
The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 and since its inception over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the competition. |
